I am dedicated to the healing work of my young clients here on Maui. I have been working with children for nearly a decade, and I feel that my playful and empathetic heart, friendly demeanor, as well as my love of learning has made me successful in working with my clients.

I love the magic that unfolds in the playroom when a child’s imagination comes alive and what were once mere toys transform into a medium of change, growth, and healing. I believe that, as humans, we are all hard-wired towards self-healing, and it amazes me that even young children innately know what they need to “do” (i.e., play out) in order to heal. I see my role as facilitating the healing journey of my clients and their families by providing a physically and psychologically safe environment, free of judgment and overflowing with acceptance, guiding my clients towards better understanding of themselves and their feelings, and supporting my clients towards their goals by offering any needed interventions if they are feeling stuck.

Some random things about me:

My favorite color is pink.

I have a puppet-friend, Waffles (pictured with me above) who loves helping me help children.

I love essential oils, and I use lavender oil in the diffuser in my playroom.

In person, I am very Tall (I’m 5’10”!)

My favorite thing to do is laugh!
